Who we are

Show Insights AI provides a service that lets you query your own databases using natural language. This policy explains what we collect, what we do with it, and what we do not do with it. If anything here is unclear, email asim@showinsights.info.

Your database content

This is the part most people are asking about, so it comes first.

• We connect to your database using read-only credentials that you provide.
• Connections are encrypted in transit using TLS.
• Your connection details are encrypted at rest. They are not displayed back to you in full and are not written to our application logs.
• Queries run against your database and the results are returned to you. We do not bulk-copy or replicate your tables into our own storage.
• We read your schema (table and column names and types) in order to generate correct queries.
• If you self-host Show Insights AI, your database content and query results never leave your own infrastructure.

What we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and authentication details.
• Connection metadata — the encrypted credentials and schema information needed to run your queries.
• Usage data — the questions you ask and the queries generated, so the product can show you your history and so we can improve accuracy.
• Billing information — handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.

Third parties

We use third-party providers for hosting, authentication, payment processing, and large language model inference. Your natural-language question and your database schema are sent to a model provider in order to generate SQL. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and its associated connection details at any time by emailing asim@showinsights.info, and we will action it.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at the address above and we will respond.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we handle your data will be communicated to account holders by email.
